Wrapping or Covering ?

Bismillahirrahmanirrahim ^^v Assalamualaikum and greeting to all :) 

Rentetan entry semalam berkisar tentang a very great novel, 'Anthem' by Hlovate, and beyond awesome even, kita nak sentuh bab "Wrapping or Covering" yang ada juga disebut dalam novel ini. 

Apa itu wrapping?

Apa itu covering?

Berbeza ke?

Or

It's just have a same definition with a different phrase? 

"Just because it is dark, doesn't mean you can't see,

Tak nampak dengan mata kepala, pandang dengan mata hati"

JOM check each of those things dalam kamus okay :D

Wrapping membawa maksud membaluti atau membungkus.

or

Dalam English maksudnya adalah "To arrange or fold something about as cover or protection." 

Covering pula membawa maksud meliputi atau menutupi.

or disebut dalam English sebagai "To place something upon or over, so as to protect or CONCEAL."

By the definition, kita conclude that tujuan kedua-duanya adalah sama iaitu 'to protect' namun jelas di dalam definisi covering itu ada satu lagi tujuan yang tersirat yakni conceal. What does it means by conceal? CONCEAL means MENYEMBUNYIKAN.

Logically, kalau membungkus dengan kata lain membalut, the whole shape of something yang dibalut itu juga akan kelihatan secara zahirnya.

Tak ke ?

But, the covering definition gave a very deep meaning which is, by the covering something, at the same time, you try to sembunyikan ia dari pandangan zahiriah.

'Why does a Muslim woman has to cover up anywhere?' 

"Because it is our obligation to God. Because Allah told us to do so, it is a projection of our faith. Plus, Islam wants it's believers to be chaste, modest, and virtuous, hence the covering."

Make sense ?

But, no pointla kan kita cover our head by hijab when kita still wearing tight clothes.

Skinny jeans, hanging tee, tight cardigan.
